New Model Papers Released by JKSCERT for Classes 4th to 8th in Jammu and Kashmir
In response to the Council Notification dated 22nd December 2022, with endorsement No: JKSCERT/AU- II/K/13/2022/4609-4659, significant modifications have been made concerning the Summative Assessment for class 5th. These adjustments will impact the assessment process for the current academic session.
Previously, the assessment procedure was outlined differently. However, in partial modification to the aforementioned notification, the Summative Assessment for class 5th will now be conducted by the respective schools.
This shift in responsibility places the onus of assessment directly on the schools themselves. Under this new arrangement, schools will operate under the overall supervision of the Concerned Complex, ensuring a streamlined and standardized approach to assessment.
Crucially, the assessment criteria remain unchanged, and students can expect a fair evaluation process. The assessment will be based on the Sample Papers provided by SCERT JKUT, accessible on the official website www.scertjk.online.
These Sample Papers serve as valuable resources for both educators and students, offering guidance on the format and content of the assessment.
